Lipson Advocacy often receives requests for support in advocating for an appropriate education from a child’s public school and has put together this list of resources with specific guidelines. There is also a list of Georgia agencies and attorneys who specialize in this work.

In addition to the resources below, please visit the Lipson Advocacy Facebook page, where we often post HELPFUL advocacy links, stories, and statutes. We also offer a free Advocacy Resource Library to our newsletter subscribers (scroll to the bottom to sign up!) with additional articles, videos, and podcast interviews.

GNETS

One suggestion for personal advocacy help is to try Parent to Parent of Georgia at 1-800-229-2038 and/or their web site for support concerning your child's education. Their services are paid for with your federal tax dollars. They employ advocates that cover the entire state of Georgia.
